The brief
All Pro Roofing are roofing contractors working in Manchester and across Greater Manchester. They wanted a website that made it clear, fast, who they are, what they do and where they work, and that turned visitors into calls and quote requests.
Manchester is a busy market for roofers. When someone searches for a roofer in the city, they're usually comparing a handful of sites on their phone. The site has to earn the enquiry in seconds.
What we built
A homepage that says it straight
The headline reads "All Pro Roofing, Solutions That Last", followed by "Professional Roofing Contractors in Manchester". In two lines a visitor knows the business name, the trade and the location. No guesswork.
Call and quote buttons in the header
A "Call Now" button with the phone number sits at the very top of the page, and it's a tap-to-call link, so a homeowner on a mobile can ring straight away. Next to the navigation there's a "Get a Free Quote" button for people who'd rather send details first.
One clear journey through the site
The key information sits on the homepage in a logical order, with the menu jumping straight to each part: About, Reviews, Services, FAQ and Contact Us. Nobody has to hunt through pages to find what they need.
Service content with real detail
Each service has its own section, written in plain English:
New roof installation, including pitched tile, slate and complete roof replacements
Flat roofs in GRP fibreglass, EPDM rubber and high-performance felt, for extensions, garages, porches and commercial roofs
Emergency roof repairs and routine maintenance, from slipped tiles to storm damage and sudden leaks
Guttering, fascias and soffits
Chimney repairs and leadwork, including repointing and re-flashing
Naming the actual materials and job types matters. A homeowner with a leaking garage roof can see "EPDM" or "GRP" and know they've found someone who does that work. It also gives Google the specific terms people search for.
Local copy that sounds local
The "why us" section talks about Manchester specifically: local weather, local building styles and local planning considerations, from Victorian terraced houses in the city to modern detached homes in the suburbs. That's the kind of detail that makes a local business feel local, rather than a national directory listing.
FAQs that handle objections
A FAQ section answers the questions homeowners ask before they commit, including:
How do I know if my roof needs repairing or replacing?
How long does a new roof take to install?
Do you offer emergency roofing services in Manchester?
Are your roofing services guaranteed?
Do you handle both residential and commercial roofing?
Every answered question is one less reason for a visitor to leave and check a competitor.
Reviews and a simple quote form
Customer testimonials sit on the page, covering jobs like storm repairs, a flat roof replacement and a chimney leak. The contact form is short: name, email, phone and a message box to describe the job. Short forms get filled in.
On-page SEO for Manchester searches
Page titles, headings and service copy were written around the services offered and the Manchester area, so Google has a clear picture of what the business does and where. For the wider picture, read our SEO guide for tradesmen.
Why this approach works for roofers
A roofing website only has one job: get the phone ringing with the right work. That means leading with the location, making the phone number tappable, naming the real services and materials, answering the common worries and keeping the quote form short.
If you're a roofer weighing up a new site, our guide to web design for roofers covers what to look for, and our SS Property Maintenance case study shows another approach.
